  21. Glattbrugg, Switzerland, November 1, 1993 -- One weeks after
  22. announcing the terminal emulation family, workstation ag today
  23. started to ship the powerful project management tool W-Plan for
  24. NEXTSTEP on Intel 486/Pentium and NeXT computers.

  26. W-Plan is a handy window-based project management system which
  27. permits to plan rapidly from most simple to most complex projects.
  28. The central chart displays the project's schedule (PERT
  29. representation) where the project's tasks and the tasks'
  30. dependencies can be graphically defined with the mouse.

  32. W-Plan of course provides all the typical project management
  33. system's standard features as resources and resources' calendars
  34. definition, automatic leveling, hierarchical project's
  35. structuration, actual versus planned data, budget and timing
  36. analysis. An interactive mouse-driven resource leveling was also
  37. developed to let the user solve the resources' conflicts in a
  38. rapid, optimal, precise and straightforward way.

  40. Through making a great use of mouse interaction with the graphism,
  41. special care was taken to offer the user a comfortable, flexible
  42. and intuitive interface to define, display and modify his data.

  44. Finally the chart views and customized reports accessing all
  45. W-Plan's data fields can be printed with a minimum of time and
  46. project's information, making W-Plan a practical and powerful tool
  47. for managers.

  52. W-Plan requires at least NeXTStep version 3.x. The product is
  53. delivered in MAB (Multi-Architecture Binary) form for both Intel
  54. 486/Pentium and Motorola 68k architecture processors.

  59. The price for a single user license is US$695. Note there is also
  60. floating license available for TCP/IP-networks. workstation ag
  61. currently ships Version 1.0Beta including a free upgrade offer to
  62. version 1.0 as soon as it comes available. For evaluation purposes
  63. workstation ag provides a demo package for US$99. The package
